This vineyard sits on a subtle slope on the fringes of Savigny that borders Beaune and leads to the road that curves north to Pernand-Vergelesses. The wine is marked by a charming wild, red-berry fruitiness but brings more backbone to its frame than its sister wine at the village level.
This traditional Parenchère blend is generally very fleshy, with a very deeply colored robe. Characterized by a good balance between fruit and tannin, it displays distinct red fruit aromas with a long, sustained finish.
Dominating aromatics abound with notes of blackberry pie, black plum, sage and lilac. A flooding sensation on entry drives dark fruits onto the mid-palate with touches of savory, fennel and licorice as complements. Long on the finish, the espresso bean and continued concentration of blackberry throughout fades slowly with gentle and soft tannins.
Delicate aromas of peach, apricot, mango and lemony vanilla are accompanied by floral hints of hibiscus and honeysuckle. The palate is perfectly poised, balancing light and airy textures with a lush, crisp juiciness. Flavors of nectarine, papaya and Crenshaw melon reveal lingering notes of apple and citrus zest, all converging into a clean, silky finish.
Crushed mulberry, blackberry and plum flavors with well-judged oak maturation, adding layers of sweet spice, vanilla and dark chocolate. Succulent black fruit with a savory edge of cigar box and graphite, all held together beautifully with smooth tannins.
Our diverse vineyard sites span several hundred miles, and even subtle differences in temperature and the strength of the wind leave their mark on the grapes. The result is a wine that combines favorite characteristics of this varietal, with white peach and bright fruit flavors, while bringing oak and acidity in harmony and balance.
Medium to full body with tight yet refined tannins. Rather linear, tense and elegant, but lacking neither power nor definition. There is a luscious weight and texture to the wine, but also a racy edge of well-balanced acidity on the palate. A powerful, yet elegant wine with wonderful aging potential.
The 2024 Château Boisson Bordeaux Blanc is an aromatic dry white, generally characterized by citrus and floral notes, offering a rich mouthfeel with notable freshness.
A vibrant, medium-bodied white with aromas of lemon, green apple, pineapple, elder flowers and lime curd. Bright and creamy, with succulent ripe fruit.
Lifted aromas of Key lime, honeydew melon, and passion fruit all jump out of the glass, supported by hints of freshly cut grass in the background. Those fresh lime and honeydew flavors continue to the palate, joined by kiwi and subtle herbaceous notes, all mingling together in a lively way. The wine is linear and focused, ending with enticing, mouthwatering acidity that will leave you wanting more.
