Pale yellow color with silver shimmers. On the nose it develops citrus and white fruity aromas and a beautiful minerality. On the palate, it offers fruity flavors and zesty minerality.
In the glass, this wine displays a deep, ruby red color that hints at its bold character and depth. Aromas of ripe blackberries and dark cherries immediately greet the senses, followed by notes of tobacco, cedar, and a subtle hint of vanilla. On the palate, the 2016 Chateau de Cugat delivers a symphony of flavors that dance harmoniously. Juicy black fruits, such as blackcurrants and plums, take center stage, accompanied by hints of licorice and spice. The velvety texture coats the mouth, adding a luxurious touch to the tasting experience. Fine-grained tannins provide structure and balance, ensuring a long and elegant finish.
This traditional Parenchère blend is generally very fleshy, with a very deeply colored robe. Characterized by a good balance between fruit and tannin, it displays distinct red fruit aromas with a long, sustained finish.
Mouthwatering Kirsch, raspberry, black truffle, sous-bois, foraged bounty, crushed leaves, and cherry blossom. It is impeccably fresh, and a perfect balance of fruit and earth. On the palate, layers on layers of red fruit laced with mineral. This is medium+ bodied and packed with a velvety tannic backbone. Never is it astringent or gripping. just elegant.
Pretty, sustained yellow hue with green tints, nice ripe aromas of citrus, grapefruit, and hazelnut on the nose, fresh on the palate, with lovely long-lasting flavors.
A wine for every day, for a dinner with friends, or a glass in front of the fire, the Collection’s Bordeaux Rouge is a well-balanced blend of traditional grape varieties consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. As the main variety, the Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine the classic elegance of the Lafite style, while the ageing gives it charm and a well-rounded character.
Etienne typically produces about 500 cases of this wine annually, half of which is reserved for us for the US market. It is often voluminous with sweet blackberry fruit and an undercurrent of licorice, game, and a firm, sweet tannic structure, a wine of exquisite value.
A lively blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Gamay from old interplanted vines planted on the plain, Forey’s Passetoutgrain is a playful and inviting wine that delivers pleasant fruit tied to notes of black pepper.
Notes of woodland flowers, peach and a hint of almond on the nose. Rich and full-bodied with well-balanced acidity and a long finish.
