The wine brings together noble Bordeaux varietals in a classic blend with a Rhône Valley twist. B. Wise Vineyards Trios Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 is a rich and complex red wine with a deep ruby color. The tannins are smooth and integrated, leading to a long and satisfying finish. The palate is full-bodied and well-structured.
Strawberry, cherry, and black raspberry fruits with touches of black pepper, red earth, and mineral. Additional nuances of warm cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Vanilla and warm oak notes accent the supple tannins. The pleasing finish is soft and caressing. Easy drinking for any occasion.
The nose smells rich and inviting, with notes of lemon oil, almond brioche, and a tropical mélange of lychee, pineapple, and kiwi surrounding the core of tangerine and zesty Eureka lemon. This decadence is continued in the mouth, which is creamy with honeyed citrus and pear, along with exotic guava and hazelnut, but always with the fresh lemon/lime center keeping it lively.
This wine opens with enticing aromas of pineapple, mango, peach, lemon grass, and lychee. The palate offers ripe fruit and crisp citrus flavors of yellow peach, apricot, pear, lime zest, and lemon cream. The Fumé Blanc has bright acidity and crisp freshness from the cool, stainless steel tank fermentation, while the subtle oak character from neutral French oak barrels adds body, complexity, and depth.
Bright and radiant, the 2019 Chardonnay emits beautiful aromas of all spice, pineapple, yuzu rind, and white flowers. Lemon curd, butterscotch, ripe kiwi, and mango feature prominently on the palate, with crisp acid balancing the long luscious texture.
