The intense florality of Garnacha is woven into Sumoll’s intense earthiness in this equal blend of the two grape varieties. Parma violets and crushed rose petals hover over petrichor, wet tobacco leaves, smoked bacon and olive tapenade. Underneath, a thick, juicy layer of plum, bramble and mulberry. Vibrant acidity leaves a zesty impression on the back-palate.
The Xarel-Lo white wine is known for its high acidity, mineral and herbal notes of fennel, anise, and camphor with hints of green apple and pear fruit. It is crisp, dry, with a touch of bitterness, and a long almond-cherry finish.
Fresh and floral, with hints of citrus and stone fruits. Delicate and balanced, with flavors of green apple, pear, and a touch of honey. Smooth and creamy, with a refreshing acidity. Clean and lingering, with a subtle mineral note.
Round, saline, and fresh, with aromas of grapefruit, apple, Mediterranean herbs, and aniseed, and flavors of ripe pear and glazed citrus on the palate. It has a creamy, textured mouthfeel with a bright, zesty finish. The wine is full of complexity and detail, offering a long, energetic finish with notes of bitter almond and stone fruit.
