The 2023 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir captures the essence of its celebrated appellation with a seductive bouquet of ripe plum, ocean breeze, warm spices, and a hint of cocoa. On the palate, luscious red fruits are balanced by elegant tannins, with a touch of brininess and mouthwatering acidity. The finish lingers with spiced oak and basalt minerality, reflecting its terroir-driven character.
Named after Victoria’s daughter and Colene’s granddaughter, Adriane is an estate cuvée composed of specifically selected barrels that possess deep, concentrated flavors and a persistent finish. The aromas on this vintage of Adriane has touches of pepper, cinnamon, and dark cherry. The palate is focused and taught with fleshy dark cherry tones mingling with a hint of nectarine and a dash of bay leaf. The tannins are supple but firm and will support the graceful aging of this fantastic pinot noir over the next five to eight years.
Dopp Creek represents the broadest combined expression of our Estate, and embodies our most approachable and versatile wine. The 2021 Dopp Creek opens with a bright, red-fruited nose, like a sun-warmed ripe raspberry. On the palate this wine is focused and bright, with a supple texture and soft tannins that showcase flavors of red fruit, a dash of warm spice, and hints of dark chocolate and coffee beans towards the finish. Drink now, or if you can wait, watch this wine age gorgeously over the next five years.
A vibrant ruby color. Aromas of fresh red fruit, cherry bark, and schist after recent rain. Distinct flavors of pomegranate and orange with an herbal, flinty undertone. A fine body that splashes over the palate anchored by medium acid and sufficient tannins.
Crushed stone, black cherry, and plum fruit scents. A nice combination of black berry, raspberry, and toasty oak follows through to a medium body.
The wine has a savory characteristic with delicate dark fruit, clove, and resin aromas. Indian spices, black currant, black cherries, and forest floor dominate the palate with a richness and tension toward fine-grained tannins, favoring a sweet fruity texture and flinty finish.
On the nose, the 2021 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir shows notes of black cherry and raspberry accompanied by leather. On the palate, the fruit remains the same but is joined by black pepper and clove.
