Made with Sangiovese and small amounts of Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera, this fragrant red has alluring aromas of herbs, truffle, pine forest and blue flowers. The taut, savory palate features juicy Morello cherry, cinnamon and white pepper set against firm, fine-grained tannins. Bright acidity keeps it vibrant.
On the nose, aromas of raspberry, cherries, plums, leather, liquorice, spices and a touch of cocoa. The palate is round and fruity, with silky tannins of a very high quality, fresh, spicy and very long finish.
Ruby color with notes of blackberry and black currant, complemented by sweet, spicy, and earthy undertones, and it exhibits a long, intense finish with soft, velvety tannins.
Aromas of French oak, cedar and camphor emerge from the glass. The linear palate offers ripe black plum, tobacco and mocha alongside chewy tannins.
